Exhibits can be left in on Sunday3rd August from 3pm – 6pm
All exhibits must be in marquee no later than 09.30am
Judging commences at 10am
(All exhibits may not be removed from marquee before 4.30pm)
Rules and Conditions
- An entry fee of €2 per Exhibit for all Farm Produce & Horticulture classes.
- All Exhibits in vegetables, flowers and fruit classes must be grown by Exhibitor.
- All Exhibitors in Flower, fruit and vegetables classes must have their exhibits in tent by 9.30 am Exhibits may not be removed from the tent before 4.30pm
- Stewards are not responsible for exhibits after 5pm
- No prices will be awarded unless there is a minimum of three entries in any one class.
- Exhibitors may enter more than one exhibit in any class.

RULES AND CONDITIONS
1. In this competition, the produce must be the property of and grown by the exhibitor.
2. Each exhibit is to consist of the following: A dish of 5 onions of any variety.
3. The onions may be grown from either seed or sets.
4. The onions may be Autumn or Spring sown. The variety to be correctly named.
5. Each onion must be tied and weigh not more than 450grams.
6. The onions to be harvested and have clear unbroken skins.
7. A special qualifying class will be held at selected shows. Two exhibits may qualify for the Final, if the Judges agree that the standard is high enough.
8. An exhibitor can only qualify one exhibit for the All Ireland Final.
The Competition will be judged as follows:
Condition / Quality: 25 points, Uniformity and Shape: 25 points
Size / Weight: 10 points, Colour: 10 point
Overall presentation / attractiveness: 10 points
Judge’s decision will be final at all stages of the competition.
Exhibits are displayed at owner’s risk.
These rules should be read in conjunction with the I.S.A. Rules.
